Hiking in the nature of the Malta Valley. Whether you need spacious wide paths or small goat trails, few or many altimeters, easy or all the better scrambling, there is more than enough to experience! Enjoy the views, sunshine and silence!
Road maps
Especially for our hikers, we have several route maps at Gasthof Hochalmspitze for our guests. Do you have a specific route you would like to hike? Let us know, and we will make sure your route is ready for you with any extra information along the way, such as resting points or small deviations from routes in order to catch that extra view.

Gasthof Hochalmspitze also offers the possibility of ordering a well-stocked hiking backpack for your hike up to the day before, which will ensure that you will be fully equipped during your hike. Just ask Harold or Franka, they will be happy to tell you more about it!
GößFall and other flights
Go hiking along the Gößfall, one of the many waterfalls in the Malta Valley. A beautiful route along several large and small waterfalls to finally arrive at the Gößfall.
Or drive a little further and stop by the Ragasschlucht, Groppensteinerschlucht or Barbarossaschlucht in the Möll valley.
